widdle babies

OK folks, here's what ya want. ready? One, Two Three......aaawwwww.

Stupid cute huh?

Yup. Stupid Cute has arrived at the princess castle. They haven't left the nest yet (that's mum just to the right) but why would you bother when you have a wading pool beside your bed?

Proud father hasn't shown infanticidal tendencies yet, just a little nibble/nudge.

Hot bees. Her Majesty Queen Malina's girls are very yellow huh?

that is all.

eeeyyyaaawww eeyyyaaaaw
I think the beer ambulance is here.

Keep cool everyone!

Adorable! Your little baby Khaki Campbells are soooo cute. They look like they are having so much fun in the wading pool. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful babies! Love them! My ducks were just getting to the age where they could have been reproducing in the spring

Congrats mama duck herder!!! Lovely hatchlings. My ducks are yet to lay anything let alone hatching : ).

I love ducks for some reason...eventhough the Mrs. is not too crazy about them...They are so funny and cute!

Send some heat our way...I want to plant something : ).

heehee thanks Everyone! My didnt those ducklings get everyone out of the woodwork. Amelia says thanks too.

Jacqui you are ALWAYS welcome to come and play the kettle is always on for you. And WF, I will swap you 10 degrees of heat (not sure what that would be in farenthingies) for 10 inches of rain (or snow I don't mind how the precipitation comes)

happy duck herdering everyone.

Love the baby pictures!! Is it normal for those bees to be out like that?

Hi Carrie - yes, hanging out on the front deck is pretty normal bee behaviour when it is really hot - it was about 40 degrees (107 for you?) when I took this photo - if you look closely they are all facing the same direction and fanning their wings to ventilate the hive. They send a breeze in one side of the entrance and circulate it though the hive and then fan it out the other side. very clever them bees.
