Well, after that last ranty post I did promise some inane cute stuff and well lookie here. Julia emerged from her secret nest today with four widdle babies.
Gorgeous! Dont think I have mentioned on my blog yet but we went out to visit Gerald and the two girls the other week at their new home. I was thrilled to see that our (your) boy is the head drake (there was one there already) and happily led his harem of about 8 girls all down to the dam for a good swim. The three of them seem much happier where they are now with lots of water to play in and I think the girls are relieved to not have him constantly trying to mate with them haha.
Ahhhh....I want to pick em up and kiss em. Our baby chicks are now 5 months old and more big fat hens than babies. I was in with them today, visiting and chatting and kissing them. I just love those girls.
