Mr Duck Herder has put Mrs Duck Herder on a money diet.
I have an allowance. A quota if you will. And I have to write everything I buy in a little book. And the book will be CHECKED apparently.
Mr Duck Herder is on the money diet too. I suspect its going to become a bit of a competition.
In other news, I rode Selina home from the farmers market this morning. It was lovely. She was lovely. Her stem it just the tiniest bit too short, so I need to find a second hand one from a similarly old and weirdly sized bike......
that is all.

Those money diets, so needful, yet so painful. All for the best I suppose~as long as there is always enough money for duck feed!
oh boy : ) ! Hope you can sneak the egg money into your wallet...to spend as you like. You do sell those duck eggs...dont you?
Oh bugga!Finances are complicated, I gave up having mine overseen or regulated by anyone but me years ago, couldn't stand the strain. Now I do it my way, works for me.
Hee hee, day 2 and I am still on the wagon!
Von, I think the problem is that I have always had a VERY relaxed attitude to money - believing that it is just energy......some structure and accountability will probably to me good!
When your husband ends up being on a first name basis with numerous couriers delivering endless little eBay and Internet packages to his door, then darling, it is time to admit we have a problem.
And I say that with a heck of a lot of love.
