So like, I really need some more champagne bottles but my besties are letting me down. I have a back log of saba that needs bottlin' and a back log of wild fruit that needs startin' and only 6 bottles. I am half way through a sparkling white shiraz because I need the bottle.......
Carolyn who can usually be depended upon in desperate times of need such as these has gone away for the weekend. I rummaged through her wheelie bin - NOTHING - beer bottles, wine bottles, no champagne.

I'm TRYING but all we have here is beer bottles and (for some reason, I blame the Architect) mead and sangria!

OH MY GOD. How awful to have friends like that. I mean where are they in your time of need? You need new friends - preferably alcoholic ones - now where would you find those in the Canberra region??
what is going on in the world when you can't even scavenge a champagne bottle from a girlfriend's bin? Crap indeed! Don't they know they are letting the team down?
hee hee. I KNOW! Lucky Bruce came good and made sure there were 10 bottles in the dumpsters at the transfer station when I looked. Good on ya Bruce.
