Nettles being friends with broadbeans. It is hard to believe these fellas grow so well when the weather is so cold!

Naughty ducks - hide their eggs every morning.

Where are you? I need that mineral lick recipe please ??? I am desperate. I thought about the paleness in their eye-lids...had to be more than worms. THANK YOU so much for the advice. Let me know how to make it.

Hi Weekend Farmer - I have left the recipe on your blog - but here it is again just in case:

5 parts dolomite
1 part copper sulphate
1 part yellow dusting sulphur
1 part seaweed meal (not powder)

I really reccomend Pat Coleby's book "Natural Farming" - she also has a specific book for sheep.

GOod luck
